This discomfort, which typically subsides within 24 hours, is minimized because of the low percentage of peroxide and short treatment time.
Q: How long will the results last?
A: Individual results will vary depending on the consumer’s habits and their unique dental make up. It is safe to say that the initial results will last the average consumer up to one year. Over time for the very same reasons that caused the teeth to discolor in the first place, fade will happen to consumers who smoke, or drink large quantities of dark acidic liquids, such as coffee, tea, red wine, colas, etc. will have to touch up their teeth more often than people who do not.

A: While hydrogen peroxide will have no negative effect on the integrity of the fillings or crowns, the fact is that these materials will not whiten in any type of bleaching procedure. However, the procedure will remove stains and clean composite dental work.
Q: Is whitening for everyone?
A: Pregnant and nursing mothers, children under the age of 16 and diabetics should consult their doctor prior to undergoing any whitening procedure.
